We give practical support for exiled Tibetan refugees living in Nepal and India, providing basic facilities including education, clean water, health and sanitation. See our projects for detail.
We develop our programmes according to three key themes:
- Developing the self-sustainability of the Tibetan community
- Skills development of the Tibetan community, particularly younger Tibetans
- Developing alternative energy systems wherever possible
The villages we work with help contribute to the cost and labour for each project, giving them a stake in every scheme's success and sustainability. We are a non-political charity always working within Tibetan culture.
Help Tibet was established in 1988 by Morna White. See our Mission statement and a Map.
